Oklahoma Making Best of Bad Situation With COVID-19 Education Funds

Expanding school choice makes sense from a dollars-and-cents perspective, especially in the chaotic pandemic environment. But it also makes sense when measured by an even more important metric; namely, the understanding that Oklahoma cannot afford to squander its human capital.


Gov. Stitt's plan uses $10 million in federal COVID-19 education funding to help some 1,500 Oklahoma families access $6,500 each to attend private schools.
