Cultural Suicide

“Most to blame for our cultural suicide,” says Oklahoma scholar Gene Edward Veith, “is our educational establishment. Instead of passing on our cultural and civilizational heritage, our schools and universities have been trashing that heritage, teaching students to despise it, while keeping them ignorant of what it is.”


There have been many cultures and civilizations that no longer exist. Some were destroyed by their enemies. But some destroyed themselves, through what historians call "social cannibalism" or "cultural suicide." Is this happening to America today?
