Unleash telehealth to fight COVID-19

Democrat and Republican governors deserve credit for temporarily rolling back restrictions on telemedicine, but state legislatures must act to permanently ensure patients in all states have better access to care through telemedicine.


In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, Gov. Kevin Stitt has fast-tracked licensing requirements to help out-of-state medical workers utilize telemedicine. Action from the state legislature is needed to permanently adopt this reform.
